The app

Hatchtop has no account and no server of ours. Clipboard history stays in memory. The Mirror camera is on only while that module is open, and nothing is recorded. New messages are read on this Mac only: from the Messages database if you grant Full Disk Access, otherwise from the notification banner if you grant Accessibility. Replies go through the Messages app. Sender names come from Contacts if you allow it. Calls are read from the notification banner, and only if you grant Accessibility. Weather comes from Open-Meteo, with no account. Calendars are the ones already on the Mac, Notion Calendar’s local cache, or an iCal link you add. Claude Code usage is read from the logs already on disk. The local API only listens on 127.0.0.1.

The app’s only network calls go to GitHub through gh, to Anthropic and Cursor if you turn their limits on, to Open-Meteo, to calendar links you add, and to Spotify for artwork.
